these beauties have seen better days. from making an appearance in a glorious tart, to being gently simmered into a custard, they have served me well. but they are not done yet. rinsed and dried, these sad beans are ready for their next mission, should they choose to accept. i have more than used and abused them, and most definitely justified their hefty price tag. just one thing left to do. vanilla sugar anyone? chocolate cookies, cream, coffee, vanilla, cream cheese, raspberry liquor, you cannot go wrong here. even when you take the cheesecake out instead of leaving it in the oven to ’set’. even when you run out of chocolate and use less than the required 16 ounces, and yes, even when, sadly, the cheesecake sits in your fridge for an extra 2 days because your love of chocolate is beat out by your love of sleep.
